Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyev / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has closed the tender to dispatch its own Azeri Light oil from the Turkish Port of Ceyhan, which is delivered via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
Sumato Energy Group Ltd won the tender. The volume of the consignment will comprise 1mln barrels (or 135,000 tons). The shipment is planned to be realized from 8-10 April. On 15 March the AZERI LT FOB Ceyhan price was $60,09/barrel (down $0,07/barrel).
In 2007 SOCAR oil cargoes from Ceyhan were purchased by the companies:
Glencore Energy UK Ltd - January (1mln barrels);
VILMA OIL S.L - January-February (1mln barrels);
Select Energy GmbH - February (600,000 barrels);
Select Energy GmbH - February-March (1mln barrels);
Glencore Energy UK Ltd - March (1mln barrels);
Addax BV- March (1mln barrels);
Sumato Energy Group Ltd - April (1mln barrels).
