Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 November / corr Trend S. Babayeva / " Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) network's state operators - Aztelekom and Baku Telephone Communication Production Union (BTCPU) - cover almost 50 percent of the country's territory," Iltimas Mammadov, deputy minister for communication and information technologies, told Baku-based Xalq Qezeti daily.
He said the number of subscribers of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies' CDMA network operators exceeds 20 thousand.
According to Mammadov, more than 20,100 users are provided with an opportunity to use the large-scale communication service of the state operators in 27 regions including Baku.
