"The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry is preparing training programs to develop human potential and future staff," Deputy Minister Elmir Velizade said at today's conference "Human Capital. State. Business" organized by the Allianz Group.
The partners of the conference are the ministry's Center of International Relations and Calculations and Access Bank.
The official said the state organ renders financial support to distinguished students who receive scholarships from MCIT, and also hires them as interns at the ministry.
After finishing their training, the ministry assists them in finding jobs at MCIT enterprises.
"The human potential development fund has been established in close cooperation with private companies engaged in ICT. The most talented students continue their studies abroad," Velizade said.
"If an employed individual cannot realize his full potential, we apply new methods to facilitate opportunities. There is a training center that assists to retrain employees in accordance with time requirements at the level of modern technologies," the deputy minister said.
