The Communications and IT Ministry plans to complete developing the law on e-government by the end of this year, Deputy Communications and IT Minister Elmir Velizade told media today.
"We will likely to complete setting up the new law by late 2011," he said.
He added that in particular, work is underway to prepare new standards in the field of telecommunications. "They will be approved soon," he said. "There are more than 10 such standards." These refer to the standards in information security, glossaries and others.
