The volume of Azerbaijani mobile operator - Azerfon's investments will hit $ 80 million for the next eight months, Azerfon Chief Executive Officer Juergen Pitz told media today.
He said that the funds will be used to improve the quality of the network, including 4G network.
"Our company has the most extensive network of base stations," he said. "All Azerbaijani cities will be covered by 3G network in 2011."
Nokia Siemens Network supplies 4G equipment for Azerfon.
