The number of subscribers of the operator of the wireless communication services of CDMA standard - Aztrank Company, has decreased by 20 more percent from the beginning of the year, was said to Trend Agency in the company.
The company said the number of households connected to the wireless communication services has reached about 400.
In general, over the past two years, the company's subscriber base has decreased by about five times. The network of the operator covers the cities of Baku, Sumqayit and Absheron Peninsula. Aztrank provides wireless communication services in the CDMA standard under the index of 437.
As reported earlier in the company, Aztrank may already curtail its activities this year, but the final decision on this issue can be made at the level of the company's shareholders.
Aztrank has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1996, and until 2005, its main activity was the provision of trunking communication services, and since 2005, the company began to provide wireless communication services in the CDMA standard.
