Alibaba company is discussing the possibility of creating its own data storage and processing centers in Uzbekistan, as reported during the meeting with Alibaba’s delegation with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications in Uzbek capital of Tashkent, Trend reports citing the ministry.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the expansion of cooperation with large Chinese companies.
"The parties expressed great interest in mutual cooperation, exchanged views and plans for further cooperation. During the meeting, they discussed such important and promising areas of cooperation as the development of electronic commerce, the creation of an online B2B platform (marketplace), as well as the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the sphere of information technology, ” said the ministry.
Alibaba is one of the world leaders in e-commerce and e-commerce and included in the Alibaba Group.
