Azerbaijani Global Technology Service company developed an innovative online checkout solution for the local market in 2020, the company told Trend.
The company noted that the solution will allow some small businesses to receive online and cash payments from their customers.
“One of this year’s most significant projects is ‘Electronic Sabail’ project (esabail.az). This project has become a novelty for our country, and now we’re working on the implementation of the program in the executive authorities of other districts, continuing to improve. In addition, we are working to create a unified management platform,’ reads the company’s message.
“In this project, at the first stage, methods of clustering, fault tolerance of data, as well as their safe storage on special media were implemented, protection systems were introduced against all known hacker attack methods to date,” said the Global Technology Service.
“Within the development strategy of the ICT sector in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan is working to develop a national anti-virus.
According to the company employee, Global Technology Service is ready to promote an already finished product on the local market and become its partner, and has solutions for the automation of state institutions and authorities, as well as a project to create automation of accounting for small business finances.
“But unfortunately not all organizations understand the severity of the threat to the security of information resources. Based on this, it is worth understanding that companies and government agencies are not fully engaged in protecting their systems. But there are ways and methodologies that can be used to convey to management the importance of security measures,” the company stressed.
