USACC Mission on IT to Visit Baku

The American-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (USACC) to hold a commercial mission for leading American companies specialized in the field of information and communication technologies in Baku. The mission will be headed by James Baker, the Co-Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Trend reports referring to the information spread by USACC.

The visit to take place on October 1-4. During the visit the mission to hold meetings with senior officials of the Government of Azerbaijan including Telecommunication and Information Technologies Minister Ali Abbasov and Economic Development minister Heydar Babayev.

The Chamber of Commerce thinks that the mission is an ideal opportunity for American companies to study the rapid developing IT market of Azerbaijan, meet potential partners, and find ways of expanding of their business both in Azerbaijan and the Caspian Region.

The Chamber of Commerce will also finance the Special American-Azerbaijani Business Forum to be held within the Expo of BakuTel 2006 in Baku on October 3-6.

USACC was established in 1995 to organize business between US and Azerbaijan.
