On September 14, the 23rd meeting of the Commission of Regional Communications Union (RCU) for Postal Communications and 12th meeting of Council of Postal Communication Specialists was completed in Baku.
The meeting was held by the deputy chairman of the RCU Commission for Postal Communication, chief of the post sector of the department for coordination of the activities of the state enterprises of the Mininstry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Novruz Mammadov and the chairman of council of operators of post communication of RCU, chairman of Kazpocht Dauren Moldagaliyev.
The meeting focused on Assistance of RCU Communications Administration in realization of decisions of 23rd Congress of World Post Union (WPU) regarding development of postal communications in modern society, Preparation of RCU Communications Administration for Strategic conference of WPU on development of post sector, Preparation of RCU Communications Administration for Sessions of WPU Administrative Council, Preparation of RCU Communications Administration for 15th anniversary RCU, etc.
It was decided to hold the next meeting in April 2007 in Kiev.
