Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Babayeva / The Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Azerbaijan, Ali Abbasov, met with the Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Naser Hamidy Zare.
The Ministry's press service reports that the meeting focused on the development of IT cooperation between the two countries.
The Ambassador stressed that bilateral cooperation between the communication administrations of the two countries over the recent three years has played an important role in the strategic cooperation of Azerbaijan and Iran.
Zare highlighted the importance of preparing joint telecasts and issuing postal marks in both countries with regards to the expected visit of the Iranian President to Azerbaijan. It was stated at the meeting that cooperation in IT products may yield positive results.
