Agreement on creating Eurasian Economic Union ready for signing

The agreement on creating the Eurasian Economic Union (EAU) is ready for signing, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said on May 29.
He made the remarks during the meeting of the Supreme Economic Council.
"Together with the Russian and Belarusian presidents, we viewed the details of the issues included in the agenda," he said, adding that the agreement is ready for signing.
The Kazakh president pointed out that the EAU is created on a voluntary basis.
"Today, we see the compliance to all the principles for signing the agreement aimed at increasing the quality of life of each party. I am grateful to the experts and the government for the work done," Nazarbayev said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting that great work has been done.
"The final issues have been agreed with the Kyrgyz president regarding Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Customs Union," Putin said.
