BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 12. The number of foreigners coming from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan in 2021 amounted to 6,928, which is 19 percent less than the previous year (8,498), Trend reports via the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan.
According to the agency, Kazakhstan ranked 9th in the top 15 countries in terms of the number of visitors to Azerbaijan in 2021.
During this period, 795,722 foreigners visited Azerbaijan, which is 1 percent less than in 2020.
Meanwhile, the number of visitors to Azerbaijan from Kazakhstan in August 2022 amounted to 3,700 people, which is 5.5 times more than compared to the same period last year (661 people).
