The Caspian Sea littoral states will probably hold a meeting by March 20 in Turkmenistan's capital Ashgabat, the Iranian president's representative for the Caspian Sea affairs stated.
The meeting will be held aiming to approve the legal status of the Caspian Sea, Mehr news agency quoted Mehdi Akhoundzadeh as saying on Sunday.
Russia has announced readiness to host the next summit of the heads of state of the Caspian Sea states, he noted.
