Iranian SNSC secretary, Syrian PM discuss issues of mutual interest

Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili in a meeting with visiting Syrian Prime Minister Wael al-Halki here on Tuesday evening said that destroying Syria economic infra-structure aims to strike against Syrian people, IRNA reported.

Jalili praised Syrian people and said that their resistance is rooted in the past several decades of resistance in Syria.

He added that destruction of public installations, industrial infra-structure, oil transferring pipeline, and electricity cables aim to beat Syrian nation.

Jalili continued that all should support resistance in Syria and defeat the "Zionist regime" and its allies and not let them reach their goals.

He added that west logic and supporting terrorists in Syria is not compatible with international standards.

Al-Halki, for his part, by referring to current development in his country said that the terrorists without considering human rules are aiming all infra-structures in Syria to put the highest pressure against people and make them stand against government.

He said that imposed pressure against his country is designed by the Zionist regime and the west to revenge Syrian nation for their support for the resistance.
