Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu is to confer with Iranian Minister of Defense and Logistics of the Armed Forces Brigadier-General Hossein Dehqan on expansion of mutual cooperation, it was announced on Sunday.
The undeclared visit occurred following the recent visit of the Iranian defense minister to Russia last week.
