New dismissals, reshuffles in Armenia's police

Chief of Armenia's police Vladmir Gasparyan signed orders relieving a number of high-ranking police officials of their posts, Tert.am reported.

On Nov. 9, Colonel Suren Sarukhanyan was relieved of the post of head of staff of the police chief and transferred to the reserve.

Colonel Aram Ter-Tovmasyan was relieved of the post of Chief of the Shirak regional police department and transferred to the reserve. Vice-Chief of the Organized Crime Department Karen Babakekhyan was relieved of his post and appointed Chief of the Shirak regional police department.

Nazaret Mnatsakanyan was relieved of the post of chief of the Division for Drug Trafficking Control, Organized Crime Control Department. Chief of the 4th division, Major Levon Khachatryan was appointed chief of the Division for Drug Trafficking Control.
