U.S. Vice President congratulates Georgian president on WTO agreement with Russia

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden congratulated Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili on the signing of an agreement between Georgia and Russia eliminating Russia's last obstacle to joining the WTO.
As the Georgian presidential administration said, Biden and Saakashvili spoke on the phone.
Biden thanked Saakashvili for his leadership qualities and called the agreement a historic step that can strengthen the economic relations between the two countries and reduce tensions in the region. He expressed confidence that the agreement will benefit both countries.
The sides also discussed bilateral relations.
Biden expressed support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
