BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 12. Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Ghebreyesus has met with the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC) delegation to discuss health in climate action, Trend reports.
"Thank you, Secretary General Rovshan Muradov and the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, for advocating for the centrality of health in climate action and making it integral to the COP29 declaration. The climate crisis is a health crisis," Ghebreyesus wrote on his page on X.
