ASHGABAT, Azerbaijan, October 10. Following the results of negotiations in an enlarged format, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov adopted a declaration on strengthening friendship and deepening multifaceted strategic partnership between the countries, Trend reports via Akorda.
Moreover, the members of the delegations signed the following documents at intergovernmental, interdepartmental, as well as interregional levels:
- Comprehensive program of strengthening friendship and deepening multidimensional strategic partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan for 2025–2027 years;
- Agreement on Encouragement and Mutual Protection of Investments between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Turkmenistan;
- Agreement on strategic cooperation in the field of transport, logistics, and transit between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Turkmenistan;
- Protocol on amendments and addenda to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Turkmenistan on international road transportation of passengers and cargoes of February 27, 1997;
- Agreement on cooperation in combating crime between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Turkmenistan;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of plant quarantine between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of archives between the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Main Archive Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Development of Financial Market and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan on cooperation in the field of sports;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Space Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on further development of cooperation in the area of digital development and information technology;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Agency “Turkmenkhovaellary” of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan;
- Plan of cooperation between the Akimat of Mangistau region of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Hyakimlik of Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan on trade-economic, scientific-technical, and cultural cooperation for 2025;
- Memorandum of Understanding between RSE on PCV “TV-Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan” Administration of Affairs of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State News Agency of Turkmenistan “TDH”;
- Agreement on strategic cooperation on the development of the gas industry between JSC NC “QazaqGaz” and the State Concern “Turkmengaz”;
- Agreement on cooperation on the development of oilfield services in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea between JSC NC “KazMunayGaz” and the state concern “Turkmennebit”;
- Agreement on delivery of international mail between Kazpost JSC and Turkmenpost postal communication company;
- Memorandum on cooperation in the field of maritime transportation between JSC NC “Aktau Sea Trade Port” and JSC ZT “Commercial Marine Fleet”;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
