Iran releases currency exchange rates for October 12

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 12. The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put up an official exchange rate for foreign currencies on October 12, Trend reports via the CBI.

According to the bank's currency exchange rate, 38 currencies increased while 6 currencies fell compared to October 10.

As for CBI, $1 equals 443,258 Iranian rials and one euro is 485,008 rials, while on October 10, one euro was 484,027 rials.

The CBI adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where one euro costs 542,627 rials and $1 costs 495,917 rials.

NIMA is a scheme for selling a percentage of the foreign money earned from exports.

The price of one euro in this system amounted to 516,591 rials, and the price of $1 totals 471,756 rials.

On the black market, $1 is worth about 626,000–629,000 rials, while one euro is about 686,000–689,000 rials.
