BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. Israel's largest publication, The Jewish Press, has criticized the American NGO Lemkin Institute for allegedly supporting Islamists, Trend reports.
The authors of the article pointed out the biased approach of the NGO towards Israel and Azerbaijan, along with baseless accusations of so-called "genocide".
"The Lemkin Institute, which claims to study 'ethnic cleansings' and 'genocides,' accuses Israel of the latter, thus concealing the crimes of jihadists from Hezbollah and Hamas," the article says.
The authors further noted that the organization has made similar false accusations against Azerbaijan, a strategic partner of Israel, claiming that Azerbaijan committed "genocide" during its counter-terrorism measures in Karabakh.
Notably, the Lemkin Institute is known for its pro-Armenian views and anti-Azerbaijani propaganda and rhetoric.
