Two people were killed and one injured in two separate attacks in central Iraq, security sources said Monday, DPA reported.
One security official was killed when gunmen broke into his house in al-Naimiya neighbourhood, in Falluja city, some 60 kilometres west of Baghdad.
One man was killed and his wife was injured when a bomb went off near their car in the same city, sources added.
