The redesigned Acura TSX sedan rolls into dealer showrooms on April 24 with a base price of $29,675, including shipping charges. That's $770 more than the comparable 2008 model.
The 2009 Acura TSX with the technology package, which includes a navigation unit, upgraded audio system and XM Satellite Radio, has a sticker price of $32,775 with shipping charges. That's $1,770 more than the price of the comparable 2008 model.
The new TSX gains 1.3 inches in wheelbase and 2.4 inches overall from the previous model. It is based on the redesigned European Honda Accord.
Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic for no extra charge.
TSX sales in the United States totaled 33,037 units in 2007, down 13.1 percent from a year earlier.
