Afghanistan, Kabul,1, November / corr / Trend A. Hakimi / KABUL -Chief of Police in Kabul informed arresting five kidnappers they descried as dangerous who had planed to kidnap a family member of local businessman.
This arresting of dangerous kidnappers was announced, while security in the capital is deteriorating day to day.
Gen. Alishah Ahmadzai Deputy Police Chief of Kabul police headquarters told Afghan News the alleged outlaws were apprehended in ninth district of this capital. He named head of the gang as Jan Muhammad and said that during primary investigations they found out the arrested was abductor.
Jan Muhammad had been released from jail four months back, he was arrested for robbing 4000 US dollars, he added.
The arrested was alleged for having kidnapped several locals from Kabul city, he believed.
Without disclosing name of the trader who was to be targeted by abductors Ahmadzai the outlaws planned to abduct 14-year-old son of a local businessman.
It is not the first time that security officials claim arresting of criminals but no punishment is implemented publicly in the country.
