Five people were confirmed dead in a road accident that occurred on a highway in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province Wednesday morning.
A police officer surnamed Yang in Binxian County, who was handling the accident, said a car got into the bottom of a truck, when the car driver attempted to overtake the truck, Xinhua reported.
The accident happened at about 7:00 a.m. Wednesday on a highway section linking Tongjiang City in Heilongjiang with Sanya City in southernmost island province of Hainan.
All the five people on the car, including five women and a man, were dead, said the police.
