Pop diva Mariah Carey has announced that she's pregnant. Her statement Thursday that she's expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon came after months of speculation on gossip websites about her pregnancy, dpa reported.
"Yes, we're pregnant, this is true. It's still early, we're expecting in the spring," said Carey.
"It's been a long journey, but it's been tough because I've been trying to hold onto a shred of privacy. And that was not easy," she said in a statement that also revealed that she previously suffered a miscarriage shortly after she and Cannon started dating.
