An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted 6km WNW of Lampa, Peru, at 0044 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, Trend reports citing Xinhua.
The epicenter, with a depth of 185.59 km, was initially determined to be at 15.3244 degrees south latitude and 70.4168 degrees west longitude.
