IT’S TOO IMMATURE TO SPEAK ABOUT MILITARY ACTIONS BETWEEN US, IRAN, A POLITICAL SCIENTIST

“It is too immature to speak about military actions between the United States and Iran and the issue will concern Azerbaijan in the near future, Vafa Guluzada, a political scientist, the former state adviser to the President on political issues told in an exclusive interview for Trend.

He was commenting on the next wave of crisis between Tehran and International Agency for Nuclear Energy (MAGATE).

According to Guluzada, it would not be right to speak about threats of the Iranian-US war in the near future.

В"Iran’s position on the issue is not entirely clear,В" Guluzada noted. Allowing the probability of adoption by Tehran of a MAGATE resolution, which challenges Iran to cease the refinery of uranium from mines in the nuclear power station in Isfahan.

В"The United States will never start by itself military actions in regard to Iran,В" the political scientist stressed, adding the necessity of a relevant resolution by the UN. В"It is not so easy to pass the issue via UN,В" Guluzada underlined.

He also noted that to date more important issues are in the agenda of political life of Azerbaijan rather crisis between Iran and MAGATE.
