“If information reach CEC with delay on voting day, we will treat it with suspision,” Igbal Babayev

“The schedule of information transfer to the Central Election Committee (CEC) during the parliamentary elections to be held on 6 November was ditermined,” Igbal babayev, the head of the �Elections’ Information Center, said to media representatives, Trend reports.

He said that on the voting day information would be transferred to the CEC 5 times. In its turn, the CEC Information Center will inform the public about the course of the voting and activity of electors 5 times, as well as publicize the names of the candidates won in the elections without delay. “The announcement of the results will be speed up as compare the last elections. Information on every constituency will be handed over media,” Babayev underlined.

He added that constituency committees were due to present the information received from the election precincts to the CEC during 24 hours. They committees to operative information transfer, as they are provided with all means and computer equipment. Al computers were checked up. According to Babayev, if the schedule of information transfer is violated because of technical problems, they will not accept the reasons and threat the results as suspicious.

The constituency commitees will transfer the copy of the information, while the original will be kept in the comittees.
