Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, is currently attending the solemn celebration of the 2nd anniversary �rose revolution’ in Georgia. The Azerbaijani embassy in Tbilisi told Trend Mammadyarov is currently participating in an international conference �New Wave of Liberation in Europe’ in Tbilisi.
The event will last till 20.00pm [local time], while at Georgian President Michael Saakashvili is scheduled to make an appeal at 15.00pm. The President of Romania, Ukraine and Lithuania are expected to deliver speeches to the event.
The Azerbaijani FM is not planning to hold bilateral meetings, or visit the regions densely populated with Azerbaijanis during his visit, the embassy said.
Mammadyarov is to be back on Thursday.
