Azerbaijan's Justice Ministry has announced tenders for provision of ICT and other technical equipment, as well as, office equipment and furniture for Sumgait Court Complex, said the message from the World Bank (WB).
Both tenders have been announced as part of the Judicial Services and Smart Infrastructure project which is being implemented by the ministry jointly with the WB.
Those interested to take part in the first tender for provision of ICT and other technical equipment should meet the following minimum qualification criteria:
1) During the past three years, the bidder must have completed at least one contract with a value of at least $3 million equivalent to Azerbaijani manat or two contracts with a value at least $1.5 million involving the development, installation, and provision of technical support for Information Systems of similar functional and technical characteristics and of a comparable scale;
2) Minimum average annual turnover of $8 million, equivalent to manat, calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last three years;
3) Demonstrated access to at least $1 million, equivalent to manat in liquid assets (e.g., bank balances, tradable securities, active lines of credit).
The attention of prospective bidders is drawn to the fact that they will be required to certify in their bids that all software is either covered by a valid license or was produced by the bidder.
The second tender is for provision of the office equipment and furniture for Sumgait Court Complex within 12 months. The participation fee in the tenders is 250 manats each.
The amount of bid security required is $80,000 for the first tender and $100,000 or equivalent in freely convertible currency for the second tender.
Bids for both tenders must be delivered on or before 15:00 (UTC/GMT + 4 hours), May 2, 2016. The tender procedure will be held at 15:01, May 2.
