Russia’s Novorossiysk international sea trade port transshipped 26.95 million tons of oil in January-April 2017 as compared to 27.28 million tons in the same period of 2016, said a message posted on the port’s website May 24.
The Novorossiysk port transshipped 11.41 million tons of oil products in January-April 2017 as compared to 11.38 million tons in January-April 2016, according to the message.
Overall, 50.58 million tons of various cargos were transshipped via the port in January-April 2017 as compared to 49.89 million tons in January-April 2016.
Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR transships its oil via the Novorossiysk port. The oil is delivered there via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.
