Iran-South Korea export jumps for 10 times

Iran's exports to South Korea in the first two months of the current Iranian fiscal year (since March 20) jumped by 960 percent.

Next to South Korea stood India and China with 6.35 and 6.22 increase respectively, Iran Customs Organization reported May 30.

China's share of Iran's exports was 22.78, the highest, while the UAE followed by 17.14 percent.

Iraq came next with 11.04 percent, and South Korea's share stood at 8.39 percent, becoming the fourth importer of Iranian goods.

India came fifth with a share of 7.28 percent in exports and a growth of 6.35 percent compared to the same time period last year.

In terms of price, petrochemicals earned Iran $2.908 billion, constituting 42.4 percent of the total export value. Gas condensates followed by a value of $1.88 billion and a -percent share of 15.4 percent of total export value.
