The Consul told that there were registered two tremors in Pakistan on Wednesday morning: at 4:00 and 5:10 local time. According to early data, the Azerbaijani citizens were not among victims. "The Azerbaijanis live mainly in the capital of Pakistan and in Karachi. They do not live in the zones ruined by the force of natural calamity," Shukurov said.
According to last information, number of dead people during the earthquake of magnitude 6.2 increased to 80, Associated Press reports.
It struck 70km ( 45 miles) north of Quetta at a depth of 10km, the US Geological Survey said.
