The volume of information and communication services rendered to organisations and people in Azerbaijan increased by 898.3 million manat in January-August, the State Statistics Committee told Trend on Thursday.
According to the information, the growth rate of this sector for the last period at constant prices was 18.7 per cent.
Some 72.2 per cent of the total volume of services rendered in the field of information and communication services fell on those services rendered to the population.
As much as 59.9 per cent of the total amount of revenues fell to the mobile services which is 16.5 per cent higher compared to the same period in 2011. In total, the volume of revenues from mobile services amounted to 537.7 million manat during this period.
