Though specialists forecasted sharp rising of level of water on the Kura River in late Marh, it does not happen. In contrary, the level of the water is lower by 1.5 meters as compare with the same period of previous years,Trend reports. It may be explained with retardation of snow thaw on maintains.
4 days ago the dam, installed on the Kura River, the Khojaly village, collapsed. Over 600 quadratic meters remained under the water as a result of the collapse and created very dangerous situation for the village. The specialists arrived to carry out a check-up and brought 14 technical units to restore the dam on the river. Besides, construction materials are brought to the village by trucks. Shore protection work is carried out to strengthen dams.
It should be mention that reconstruction of the dam is planned to be completed within a week.
