Aykhan Malikov, the chair of Azerigas JSC, held a conference at the Tovuz Executive Power with the participation of the heads of gas departments of the regions Kazakh, Aghstafa, Shamkir and Tovuz, Trend reports.
In his remarks, Malikov stressed that collection of payment for gas thought the country comprises 16%, the figure is equal to 30-35% in the Tovuz region. Malikov does not regard this figure as good. He added that 7% of subscribers would be provided with gas meters in 2006.
If collection of payment improves, gas line will be constructed in the villages of the regions. The heads of gas departments reported on their problems at the event.
It should be mentioned that the meeting will be held in Ganja on Saturday.
