Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree to appoint Tofik Zulfugarov, the ex-Foreign Minister, as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Latvia, Trend reports.
The President also issued a decree to appoint Isfandiyar Vahabzada, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Moldova.
Zulfugarov worked the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister from March 1998 to October 1999.
In 1997-1999 Vahabzada worked as Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan, while in 1999 he was appointed Azerbaijan’s permanent representative at the UN office in Geneva.
