One of Azerbaijani Soldiers Located in Armenian Captivity is Still Kept in Armenia and Another One in Nagorno-Karabakh Red Cross

The Head of the Press-Service of the Baku Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Gulnaz Guliyeva, informed Trend that one of the Azerbaijani soldiers located in the Armenian captivity is still kept in Armenia and another one in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The employees of the ICRC Armenian representation have met with Azerbaijan soldier, Samir Mammadov, who was taken prisoner on December 24, and the employees of the ICRC Nagorno-Karabakh representation has met with Azerbaijan soldier, Eldaniz Nuriyev, who was taken as prisoner on December 31.

S.Mammadov is kept in Armenia and E.Nuriyev in Nagorno-Karabakh. The ICRC representatives have got familiarized with the detention conditions of the two prisoners. The parents of S.Mammadov have sent a letter to him. The health state of the two soldiers is normal. Negotiations are being held to return them, Guliyeva said.

It should be mentioned that both military men of Azerbaijan have lost their ways and have been taken as prisoners by Armenia.
