During the monitoring of the Armenian-Azerbaijani frontline on February 14th, the Field Assistants of the OSCE Special Envoy first visited the Executive Power of the Khojavand District, located in the Beylagan District. The monitoring is being carried out in the village of Ashagi Veysarli, situated at the border of Fizuli and Khojavand Districts.
A Trend Regional Correspondent has been informed by the Khojavand Executive Power that at 10:00 a monitoring group met with the head of Executive Power, Eyvaz Huseynov, to ask about the facts of armistice breaches by Armenian armed divisions. In turn Huseynov told that in the past Armenian divisions frequently violate the ceasefire. Along with the Azerbaijani Armed Forces they also fire at civilians.
At 10:40 the field assistant began monitoring. The monitoring is currently in progress. No incidents have been reported during the monitoring exercise.
