An earthquake took place in 20 km in the south-east of Sumgait city of Azerbaijan.
The earthquake was recorded today at 05:06 local time, the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences' (ANAS) Seismological Service reported.
The 3.00 point-earthquake took place at a depth of 58 kilometers.
The earthquake has not been felt.
