Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / On 15 October, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received a delegation of the Germany-South Caucasus Parliamentary Group at the Bundestag. The President characterized political and economic co-operation between Azerbaijan and Germany as very successful. "I hope your visit will assist in strengthening the co-operation between Azerbaijan and Germany in various fields and enhancing Azerbaijan-European Union partnership", the Azerbaijani leader noted. He stressed that next year Germany will host the Year of Azerbaijan which he said will help spread much more information about Azerbaijan in Germany. Head of the Germany-South Caucasus Parliamentary Group Steffen Reiche said members of his delegation have already been several visits to Baku. Reiche expressed satisfaction with the level of Germany-Azerbaijan co-operation. He emphasized the Year of Azerbaijan in Germany will give a huge boost to the development of the two countries' relationships.
