Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr E. Huseynli / The investigation on the assassination of Azerbaijani Monitor magazine's editor-in-chief, Elmar Huseynov, has been intensified, the Azerbaijani Deputy Prosecutor General, Rustam Usubov, said to Trend on 22 October.
According to him, the investigation is held jointly with Azerbaijani National Security Ministry and Georgian Prosecutor's Office.
The editor-in-chief of the Monitor was killed on 2 March 2005 in front of his house. Teymuraz Aliyev and Tahir Khubanov, Georgian citizens, are being searched by the international police.
The assassins have not been yet found, therefore the investigation is still underway, Usubov said.
