Kazakhstan, Brussel / Trend corr. К. Кonirova / Azerbaijan is one of the most active partners of the NATO in the South Caucasus; it was stated to journalists from the CIS information source from NATO headquarters at the briefing in Brussels.
Azerbaijan has not appealed to the organization to join NATO yet. However, Azerbaijan demonstrates interest in cooperation with the organization in compliance with the program Individual Partnership Plan (IPP).
Twice a year Azerbaijan reports about the implemented work on IPP.
Answering the question by Trend does NATO plan to implement new programs in Azerbaijan the interlocutor said that implementation of new program depends on will of the country. And Azerbaijan has not submitted new proposal to the organization.
