Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend I.Alizade / The names of the two villages in Samuhk district located in the western region of Azerbaijan will be changed. "The residents of Aliushagi village of Samukh district appealed to Azerbaijan Parliament's Permanent Commission on Regional Affairs with a request to replace the name of their village to Aliushagi. and the residents of Hadili village asks to rename their village as Gadili," said Commission's Chairman, MP Arif Ragimzade, at the meeting of the Commission on 13 December.
Samukh is located in 380km from Baku.
In addition, the Commission discussed the issue of renaming Seidoba village of Azerbaijan's district of Saatli. Saatli is located in 180km from Baku.
After discussions, the Commission confirmed the changes and recommended to consider the issue in Parliament.
