Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend E.Huseynli / The Military Doctrine of Azerbaijan is fully developed and will be adopted in the spring session of the Milli Majlis, Eldar Safarov, the spokesman for the Azerbaijani National Defense Ministry, stated to a news conference on 28 December.
Azerbaijan was expected to adopt the Military Doctrine in the spring session of the Milli Majlis [Parliament], but was postponed due to unsettlement in some of the issues included in the document. Safarov said that the Military Doctrine of Azerbaijan fully meets the country's national interests. The official of the Ministry did not state their attitude towards the Military Doctrine, adopted by Armenia on 25 December.
