Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 January / The Military Doctrine of Azerbaijan may be passed at the spring session of the Parliament. "Developing of the Military Doctrine is close to completion," Siyavush Novruzov , a member of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Security and Defence, who is also the Deputy Executive Secretary of the governing New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), said to Trend on 29 January.
"The Military Doctrine will be the key document managing the activities of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, envisaging the country's key military aims and military reforms.
"The Military Doctrine is being developed at the Executive Presidential Administration and it will be submitted to the Parliament by the President Ilham Aliyev ," Novruzov said.
The spring session of the Parliament begins on 1 February and ends on 31 May.
