Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 April / corr. Trend I. Alizade/ The Ministries of Emergency Situations (MES) of Azerbaijan and Turkey will hold joint training, said colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov during his meeting with Jamil Chichek, the Deputy Prime Minister and state minister of Turkey.
Chichek is paying a two-day visit to Azerbaijan at Heydarov's invitation. The visit aims at discussing cooperation between MES of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
According to Heydarov, the joint training is necessary for MES to be on full alert in case of emergency situations in the border regions of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
"There are good opportunities to hold joint training. I believe that we will take advantage of them," said Heydarov.
