Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan Gives Cargo Transportation Permission for Busher Atomic Electric Station

Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 May /corr. Trend M.Aliyev / The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan gave the permission of cargo transportation for Busher Atomic Electric Station.

"No problem remained with Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry in this regard," the Ministry's Press Secretary Khazar Ibrahim, said on 1 May.

On 29 March, the Azerbaijani side detained the cargo on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border due to lack of special transit permission, which the Russian Rosatomstroy Company, a contractor for construction of Busher Station, had to receive from the Azerbaijan Government.

The Baku administration has requested more detailed information regarding the contents of the cargo. Yesterday, the Russian side provided information to Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The representative of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said that the information on date when the cargo would be allowed to pass would be provided by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan to Iran. It was a failure to receive information from the Committee.
